A homeowner in Carlisle, Massachusetts, had their landscapers tending to their property. The homeowner asked them about their pool deck sinking. The edges of the pool deck were sinking and had caused a tripping hazard. The homeowner wanted to have the pool deck repaired so they could use their pool this summer. The landscapers told them that they haven't repaired anything like that before. The landscaping company recommended EFS for that type of repair. One corner of the pool deck is sinking more that the rest. Our design specialist John recommended lifting that corner of the pool deck using PolyLevel.
Our production team started by drilling portholes into the sunken concrete in a grid pattern. The grid pattern is used so the team can lift the concrete slowly so it won't crack. The team used Poly Rig to inject polyurethane foam into each porthole to slowly lift the slab back up to even with the other slabs. The team had lifted the slab more than an inch to level it with the surrounding slabs. After the team finished leveling the concrete, they mixed some universal concrete to seal up the ports holes in the concrete.
The homeowners were very happy with leveling of their pool deck. They can now use their pool as they please without the fear of someone tripping.
