Gilmanton Iron Works, NH Local Concrete Repair Expert

Sunken and cracked concrete around your home is not only an eyesore, but is also a safety hazard. As time goes by, if the problem isn’t corrected, it will only get worse. However, you have no reason to fret when you have the professionals at Erickson Foundation Solutions doing the work. Our experts use PolyLevel, a strong, and durable foam material to lift your concrete slabs back into place. We drill small holes into the slab where the foam is injected and expands, raising the concrete into place. Many other contractors will use a technique called mudjacking, but our method doesn’t disturb the area, takes less drying time, and is more affordable.

After repairing your concrete, consider a durable concrete sealant that extends the life of your slabs by 3 to 5 times overall in just one quick application. Our SealantPro concrete sealant bonds with concrete on a molecular level to protect slabs against oil, gasoline, water, debris, and more. Whether you have new slabs or existing slabs, SealantPro will work for you! Now, we even offer ResurfacePro™ Concrete Resurfacing for your concrete repair needs. ResurfacePro™ is a system made of polymer cement that is durable and will restore the function of your concrete and add aesthetic value to your home.

Radon Gas Mitigation Systems

Radon gas is colorless, odorless, and as cancer-causing as tobacco and asbestos. Radon gas is produced from the decaying of rocks and soil and comes up from the ground into your crawlspace and basements. The way our radon mitigation systems works in a pipe collects the gases that are coming from the soil. The gas is then piped upwards where a depressurization vent forces the radon out from your home. Our radon mitigation system is completely compatible with the current waterproofing system in your home. Get in contact with us now to learn how to protect your loved ones from the harmful effects of radon gas.

Job Stories From Gilmanton Iron Works, NH
Foundation Crack, Gilmanton, NH

This homeowner of 2 months in Gilmanton, New Hampshire had an issue where the foundation under their two-car garage was beginning to crack and starting to become uneven. The homeowners are hoping to fix and flip the house. In the foundation, multiple cracks were greater than one inch and would likely suffer integrity issues in the future if this went unfixed. They want this fixed so that the garage is functional again to park their car inside and hopefully be able to flip the house.

They called Erickson Foundation Supportworks because they wanted a company that communicates with them, delivers a quality product, and good pricing. After they called Erickson Foundation Supportworks, a Design Specialist, Paul Magowan came out to Gilmanton and looked at the house and inspected the customer's concerns. Paul inspected the garage and the area around and under the garage to get a broad overview of how the Erickson Foundation Supportworks team would fix the problem. He concluded that they would need to install PowerBrace into the basement under the garage to make the foundation stronger, then they would need to set up a second appointment to pour a new concrete floor in the garage and inject and seal all the cracks. Team Lead Scott Crandall was in charge of install for both appointments. He and his team were able to successfully install the PowerBrace into the basement beneath the garage. PowerBrace is a metal rod that is the height of the foundation wall that is secured at both the bottom and the top of the wall to keep the wall from bowing and also keeps the wall secure. During the second appointment, the team installed the new garage floor and sealed all the cracks.

The homeowners were pleased with the way everything turned out. They are now able to park their car in the garage and also have the ability to now flip the house if they still want to.

We need a radon mitigation system installed in our home to reduce the radon in the air. We have all the piping installed under the foundation and have the pipe installed from the basement to the attic. We have not penetrated the roof and do not have an outlet installed in the attic for that end of the radon system.

Foundation of attached two-car garage has multiple cracks greater than 1 inch. It will likely suffer structural integrity issues in the near future. Interior slab has multiple cracks, bad settling and unlevel surfaces, one area shows clear signs of bad washout under the slab (visible as the area is at the intersection of several cracks). The property pitches toward the garage. An older attempt at mitigating the drainage issues was/is not sufficient and is likely the cause of some if not all the damage and probably needs to be addressed properly.

Hello, We are trying to buy a home with radon in the air and water. It is high enough where a mitigation system is needed. I was hoping that you could give a quote for these systems. Please respond as soon as you can since our closing date is approaching quickly. Thank You, Siobhan
