A homeowner in Dorchester, Massachusetts, planned to create a playroom in their basement. Before they start repurposing the space they decided to test for radon in the basement. The tests came back at .9 pCi/L which is on the lower side, but any amount of radon can be harmful. Our design specialist Kenny Calabrese recommended installing a radon mitigation system. Our production team installed the radon mitigation system in the basement. The team vented the radon pipe thru the side of the home, up the exterior wall, and above any roofline or window.
