Failing Sump Pump
The previously installed sump pump was insufficient to manage the volume of water infiltrating the basement. This inadequacy is evidenced by the onset of mold growth and water damage on the basement floor.
WaterGuard
WaterGuard was installed along the interior perimeter of the basement sub-slab to intercept water before it infiltrates the basement space. The captured water is then directed towards the sump pump for efficient removal from the home.
TrenchDrain
TrenchDrain serves as an effective surface drainage solution, designed to collect water on the basement's surface in areas where WaterGuard cannot be installed. It integrates seamlessly with the WaterGuard system, creating a unified pathway for water to be directed to the sump pump. During installation, a protective layer of tape is placed over the grates to prevent cement from entering. Once the installation is complete, the tape is removed.
TripleSafe Sump Pump
The TripleSafe Sump Pump system is an ideal solution for handling high water volumes. It includes a primary pump, a secondary pump, and a battery-powered backup pump, ensuring uninterrupted operation even during power outages.
IceGuard
Water is safely expelled from the home via a discharge line. An IceGuard system is installed on the discharge line, ensuring continuous water flow even during freezing temperatures. This installation prevents clogs, thereby further safeguarding the basement from flooding.
Bubbler Pot
A bubbler pot is installed at the terminus of the discharge line to enhance water drainage into the soil, thereby preventing the yard from becoming swampy.
