Rusted Lally Columns
The corroded lally columns in the basement compromised the structural integrity of the floor, resulting in noticeable sagging and a bouncy, sloping surface. To ensure permanent stabilization of the floor, a robust and durable solution was imperative.
SmartJack Footing
Our team removed the deteriorated lally columns and began excavating the concrete to prepare for the installation of SmartJacks. After the concrete was excavated, the footing was reinforced with rebar. Concrete was then poured and meticulously leveled to ensure a stable foundation.
SmartJack Placed on Footings
After the footings have fully cured, the SmartJack base is positioned atop them. The post is then securely installed onto this reinforced base. This combination of meticulous efforts ensures optimal support and maximizes the effectiveness of the SmartJack system.
SmartJacks Completed Installation
The SmartJack system is fully adjustable, precisely calibrated to the main beams of the garage to deliver optimal support and, if necessary, lift. Once adjusted, the SmartJacks are anchored into the foundation with concrete, ensuring maximum durability and long-term stability.
Foundation Wall Crack
The crack in the foundation wall of the garage raised significant concerns regarding the structural integrity of the home. If not promptly addressed, these structural issues can deteriorate further, leading to more severe and costly repairs over time.
Injection Crack Sealant
Our team addressed the foundation wall crack by utilizing an injection crack sealant. To monitor any future movement, a crack gauge was installed on the repaired area, ensuring ongoing assessment of structural stability.
