Flooded Warehouse
The warehouse experienced flooding due to the inability of water to reach the sump pumps, jeopardizing the company's operations. To mitigate this risk, a perimeter drainage system was required to intercept and direct water to the sump pumps, ensuring its removal before it could penetrate the warehouse.
WaterGuard Perimeter Drainage
WaterGuard was strategically installed around the entire perimeter of the warehouse to effectively capture and channel water, thereby preventing leaks and floods. The concrete floor was meticulously chipped out to accommodate the placement of the WaterGuard system along the footing beneath the surface.
Perimeter Drainage with Wide Footing
In certain sections of the basement, the footing was wider, necessitating a slight adjustment in the placement of the WaterGuard system. To accommodate this, we excavated a deeper trench in these areas, ensuring that the WaterGuard fin remained flush with the floor.
TrenchDrain Surface Drainage
Our TrenchDrain surface drainage system was strategically installed around immovable objects within the warehouse, establishing a unified pathway for water to flow towards the sump pumps.
WaterGuard Integrated with Existing Sump Pump
Water that is collected by WaterGuard is deposited into the existing sump pumps' basins. The pumps then activate to remove the water from the warehouse.
Additional Pumps Integrated with WaterGuard
All sump pumps were seamlessly integrated with the WaterGuard system. With a comprehensive perimeter drainage system now in place, all water is efficiently channeled to the sump pumps, ensuring a fully waterproof warehouse. The company can now operate with confidence, free from the threat of leaks or flooding.
