Failing Sump Pump
The previously installed sump pump lacked the capacity to manage the significant volume of water accumulating around the foundation. As a result, hydrostatic pressure forced water into the basement, compromising the space.
Finished Basement Water Damage
Water intrusion compromised the finished basement flooring, necessitating its removal. Moisture infiltration in a finished space can foster hidden mold growth behind walls and under flooring, posing significant health risks if left unaddressed.
WaterGuard Perimeter Basement Drainage System
Our WaterGuard system was installed along the basement perimeter to intercept water before it reaches the interior space. This sub-floor drainage solution channels collected water directly to the sump pump system, ensuring efficient removal from the home.
TreinchDrain Surface Drainage System
TrenchDrain was installed at the bulkhead entrance to capture surface water before it could spread across the basement floor. This system integrates seamlessly with the WaterGuard perimeter drainage, creating a unified channel that directs water efficiently to the sump pump for optimal discharge performance.
Waterproofing System Concreted into Foundation
Following a successful flood test to verify proper drainage performance, the waterproofing system was permanently integrated into the foundation and concealed with a clean cement finish for a discreet, durable installation.
SuperSump Sump Pump
As water enters the SuperSump basin, the Zoeller® 1/3 horsepower cast-iron pump engages, delivering high-capacity performance by removing up to 2,220 gallons per hour at an 8-foot lift. This ensures rapid and efficient water evacuation from the home through the discharge system.
Discharge Line Freeze Prevention
At the point where the discharge line exits the home, an IceGuard® anti-freeze adapter is installed to prevent blockages caused by freezing or debris. This failsafe feature ensures continuous water evacuation and provides added protection against sump system backup and potential basement flooding.
LawnScape
A LawnScape® outlet was installed at the termination point of the discharge line to facilitate efficient water dispersion while preventing debris from entering the system. The discharge line was then buried below grade, preserving the lawn's aesthetics and ensuring a clean, unobtrusive finish.
NexusPro Crack Repair
To safeguard finished flooring against moisture intrusion, NexusPro® was applied to seal existing cracks in the foundation slab. This advanced sealant provides a durable, flexible barrier that helps prevent water penetration and minimizes the risk of structural or cosmetic damage.
SmartJack Support Post
The floors above the basement exhibited sagging due to insufficient support for the underlying beams and joists. To restore structural integrity, a SmartJack® support system was installed, providing adjustable, high-strength reinforcement. This solution stabilized the load-bearing components, ensuring the floors are level and secure.
