Drainage Matting
Our team initiated the project by installing drainage matting across the crawl space floor. This strategic measure mitigates potential seepage accumulation and efficiently channels it towards the sump pump, ensuring optimal drainage performance.
CleanSpace Vapor Barrier
Subsequently, CleanSpace was installed to encapsulate the crawl space. This advanced vapor barrier system effectively prevents moisture ingress, thereby significantly reducing the risk of mold proliferation and wood decay. Additionally, it enhances overall indoor air quality, contributing to a healthier living environment throughout the home.
Custom Sump Pump Cover
A custom sump pump cover was fabricated to ensure an airtight seal around the sump pump. When combined with our CleanSpace vapor barrier, this setup effectively isolates the crawl space from moisture infiltration while maintaining the sump pump's full operational capacity.
Crawl Space Dehumidifier
The SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier was installed in the crawl space to further regulate humidity levels. This high-capacity dehumidifier is engineered to extract up to 95 pints of moisture per day, ensuring optimal humidity control and enhancing the overall effectiveness of the encapsulation system.
Dehumidifier Tied into Sump Pump
The SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier channels the collected moisture directly to the sump pump, ensuring seamless and autonomous drainage. This process provides homeowners with the assurance that their crawl space dehumidifier operates at peak efficiency without the need for manual intervention.
