Uneven Tile Floor
The tile flooring in the photo exhibits noticeable sagging, resulting in a spongy or unstable walking surface. This condition may indicate underlying structural deficiencies, such as compromised subfloor support or foundation settlement, which could worsen over time if not properly addressed.
Lack of Floor Support
In the absence of adequate support beneath the joists, prolonged exposure to the load of the structure above has caused them to weaken over time. This deterioration has led to noticeable floor sagging and compromised structural integrity. To restore stability and prevent further damage, supplemental support systems were needed to reinforce the floor and redistribute the load effectively.
SmartJack and Supplemental beam Installation
A supplemental beam was installed beneath the joists to provide additional structural support. SmartJacks were then securely mounted to the beam and precisely calibrated to elevate the floor back to its original position. This engineered solution permanently stabilizes the floor system and restores the structural integrity of the affected area.
Crawl Space Door
A crawl space access door was installed to create a sealed and secure entry point. Unlike an open or exposed entry, this door helps prevent moisture intrusion, pest infiltration, and outside air from entering the crawl space-contributing to a healthier, more energy-efficient environment beneath the home.
