Our structured process commenced with a call to our Customer Care Specialist, who promptly scheduled a comprehensive inspection. Our System Design Specialist then conducted an in-depth evaluation, diagnosing the problem accurately. To address the sloping deck, we proposed using our specialized products: the PolyLevel® system and NexusPro® Joint Sealant. The solution began with our skilled production team, who arrived promptly at the site. With precision, we drilled pea-sized holes through the affected concrete slab, injecting high-strength polyurethane foam via the PolyLevel® system. This strategic approach efficiently stabilized and lifted the sagging section back to its intended level. Once the slab was leveled, we applied the NexusPro® Joint Sealant to all necessary joints, ensuring no water could penetrate and erode the soil underneath.

A home in East Bridgewater, Massachusetts, was for sale, and a potential buyer was in talks with the sellers. The conversations stemmed around something that was found in the home inspection. The home inspector had found that water was entering the partially finished basement and wanted a solution before they purchased the home. The buyer and seller contacted EFS about a free inspection. Our Design Specialist Liam recommended installing a perimeter drainage system in the basement, complete with WaterGuard, TripleSafe, IceGuard, and a SaniDry. Liam worked with the buyer and seller to figure out how much each party was financially responsible for. 

Our production team began by chipping out the concrete around the perimeter of the basement so we can install the WaterGuard and TripleSafe in the basement. The team integrated the sump pump and the perimeter drainage to collect any water entering the basement and pump it outside the home. Once the WaterGuard and TripleSafe we installed in the basement, the team then plumbed the sump to the outside of the home. The team installed an IceGuard to prevent the system from backing up into the basement and then used an exterior drainage line to expel the water away from the foundation of the home. After the sump was plumbed, the team then coved the WaterGuard and around the sump pump basin with concrete to conceal the system and prevent any tripping hazards. Lastly, the team installed the SaniDry Dehumidifier next to the TripleSafe basin so the moisture the dehumidifier collects can be discharged into the sump pump. 

Even with a lot of moving parts with this job the buyer and seller were very pleased with how smoothly the job went from start to finish. The buyer was especially happy because this means that they could finish the space and have their mother move into the basement after closing on the home.
