Unsupported Floors
The expansive basement area was inadequately supported, featuring only a few structural posts and several rusting temporary support columns. These deficiencies compromised the stability and support of the floors above, which was a significant concern for the homeowner upon moving into the new residence.

SmartJack Footing Excavation
Concrete and soil were excavated from the designated areas to create footings for the installation of SmartJacks.

Reinforcing Footings with Rebar
Rebar was embedded in the concrete footings to enhance their strength and durability.

Concrete Footings
Additional concrete is poured over the embedded rebar and meticulously leveled. Once the concrete cures, the SmartJacks will rest securely on these reinforced footings, effectively preventing any settlement.

SmartJack Plates
SmartJack plates are positioned on the footings, and the posts are subsequently secured to them.

SmartJacks Cemented into Foundation
SmartJacks are installed onto the main beam and are fully adjustable, enabling precise calibration to stabilize and restore floors to their original position. They can also provide lift to the floors. Once positioned, they are cemented into the foundation, ensuring exceptional long-term strength.

Supplement Beam
Supplemental beams were installed perpendicular to the joists, allowing SmartJacks to be affixed to them, thereby enhancing the stability of the floors.
