Garage Settlement
The cracked garage foundation floor indicates signs of settlement. This issue is further evidenced by the cracks in the room above the garage and sticky windows. If left unaddressed, the foundation settlement could worsen, compromising the structural integrity and resale value of the home.
Push Pier Bracket
We addressed the settlement issue by installing our Push Pier System. We started the push pier installation process by installing steel brackets to the footing of the foundation. This connects the push piers to the home.
Push Piers Driven into Durable Soil
After installing the brackets, the piers are driven into the ground until they reach stable, load-bearing soil. These piers are then anchored into this soil, providing robust support and stabilization to the home, effectively preventing any further settlement.
Push Piers Lifting Home
The piers are then hydraulically driven into the stable soil, effectively lifting the home. This process restores the home to its original level, ensuring structural integrity and preventing further settlement.
Push Pier Backfill
Following the successful installation of the push piers, the excavated soil is carefully backfilled to restore the area around the foundation. Our crews ensure the job site is left in optimal condition, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and care.
Extended Downspouts
Previously, water from the gutters was discharged directly at the home's foundation, raising concerns about its contribution to settlement issues. To mitigate this risk, we extended the downspouts 15 feet away from the home, ensuring proper water drainage and protecting the foundation from potential damage.
Bubbler Pot
Bubbler pots were installed at the end of the downspouts to enhance soil drainage. This solution effectively prevents water from pooling on the lawn's surface.
