We commenced the project by excavating a footing to establish a solid foundation for the SmartJack. This strategic approach safeguards against settlement and guarantees optimal floor support.
SmartJack Secured to Joist
Once the concrete footing had fully cured, the robust base of the SmartJack was positioned atop it, followed by the installation of the SmartJack post. The adjustable bracket of the SmartJack was then securely fastened to the joist beneath the sagging floor area, ensuring precise and stable support.
SmartJack Cemented into Foundation Floor
To further enhance support and ensure enduring protection, the SmartJack system was anchored into the foundation with cement.
SmartJack Completed Installation
Following the successful installation of the SmartJack system, the floors are now supported, stabilized, and elevated to their intended height. The homeowner can rest assured that the structural integrity of their home is restored for the long term.
