A homeowner in Natick, Massachusetts, lived in the home that her parents had built in 1989. Around 2009 they redid the basement bathroom and the company who did the work noticed there was a void under the slab. They paid a company to come out and fill the void with cement. Now over a decade later, the problem has only gotten worse and the homeowners are looking to find a permanent solution. They reached out to EFS for a free inspection of their foundation. Our Design Specialist met with the homeowners and talked about their experience with this issue and what their goals were. After learning about the issue Mark looked at the foundation and found that the foundation had settled and a section of the concrete had cracked.
