This homeowner in Bow, New Hampshire was experiencing the back of their garage bowing outward. The homeowner of 15 years has noticed the problem get slightly worse over time and wanted to look into a repair. Design Specialist John Prince came to the home and inspected the issue. He concluded that the home would benefit from installing geolocks to counteract the wall being pushed outward.
Crew Lead Scott Crandall and his team came to the home and dug a trench in the garage so that they could internally mount 3 geolocks under the garage floor. They drilled a long threaded rod from the back of the garage to the trench in the garage. Once they drill the rod to the trench they secure large plates to both ends and tighten them to create enough tension to secure the foundation wall. After, they filled the trench and put covers on the geolocks that are on the back of the garage.
