PowerBraces
The optimal solution for permanently stabilizing the failing foundation wall was the installation of a StableLock auxiliary wall system. To prepare the wall for reinforcement and ensure proper load transfer during construction, our team first installed a series of PowerBraces. These steel supports were used to secure and stabilize the existing wall, helping prevent additional movement while the StableLock system was constructed. Steel reinforcing bars were integrated through the PowerBraces framework to create a continuous structural connection within the auxiliary wall. This reinforcement enhanced the wall's tensile strength and load-distribution capacity, resulting in a more robust and durable StableLock system
Auxiliary Wall Forms
Auxiliary wall forms were carefully constructed to establish the dimensions and alignment of the new StableLock wall. These forms were then securely braced with a temporary support system to withstand the significant lateral and vertical pressures generated during concrete placement, ensuring the wall maintained its intended shape and position throughout the curing process.
StableLock Auxiliary Wall
Concrete was then placed within the forms to create the new auxiliary wall. During placement, the concrete was consolidated using mechanical vibration to eliminate trapped air and ensure a dense, uniform structure with maximum strength and durability. Once the forms were filled, the top of the wall was precisely finished and leveled to achieve a consistent profile. After the concrete had fully cured, the forms were removed, revealing the completed StableLock auxiliary wall. The foundation wall is now permanently stabilized with a reinforced structural support system designed to prevent further movement and provide long-term protection for the home.
