Foundation Repair Photo Album: Detached Garage Has Foundation Issue, Barrington, NH
A homeowner in Barrington, New Hampshire had some foundation and waterproofing issues that they wanted looked at. They wanted their foundation walls looked at to check if they were stable. The homeowners are thinking of adding a jacuzzi on the second floor of their detached garage. Our design specialist Brian recommended installing PowerBrace, GeoLock, FlexiSpan, NexusPro, SmartJacks, UltraSump, and IceGuard.
Our team first started by installing PowerBraces and Geolocks to the foundation wall. The team needed to stabilize the right foundation wall so we installed 4 PowerBrace and a GeoLock. After the wall was stabilized the team transitioned into installing a single SmartJacks under the main beam in the garage. This SmartJack will add extra support to the second floor for the jacuzzi that the homeowners wanted to install. After the team installed the SmartJack they began installing the FlexiSpan against the foundation wall. The team installed three FlexiSpans into the detached garage and two into the basement. After the team finished with the FlexiSpan they moved on to installing the UltraSump. The UltraSump was installed in the corner of the basement and the team attached an IceGuard on the exterior drainage line to prevent water from backing up.
