Foundation Wall Crack
The garage foundation wall had vertical foundation wall cracks, a sign that the foundation was losing its structural integrity. Although attempts to seal the cracks have previously been made, the homeowner now sought out a long-lasting solution guaranteed address and fix the issue.
Foundation Wall Stabilization
We installed our PowerBrace system to stabilize the garage foundation wall. A total of 7 PowerBraces were installed along the foundation wall, all secured to joists and enrooted into the foundation floor. This system not only stabilizes the foundation wall, but can also gradually straighten it over time.
Floor Stabilization
With the integrity of the garage at risk, the homeowner also wanted to take measures to stabilize the floors above and prevent the ceiling from sagging. We replaced an old lally column that was not providing the proper support with our SmartJack system. SmartJack is an adjustable support system that is cemented in the foundation floor and connects to the main support beam to supports joists and the floors above it.
Basement Dehumidifier
The SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier was installed in the unfinished area of the basement. This dehumidifier removes moisture from the basement and provides high quality air by removing mold spores and other toxins. The SaniDry Sedona duct provides the same efficiency without the dehumidifier being visible in the finished basement area.
