Exterior Foundation Wall Crack
Horizontal cracking along the exterior foundation wall indicated a loss of structural integrity due to lateral pressure. Addressing this early was critical to prevent progressive damage and ensure long-term stability of the foundation system.
Severe Foundation Wall Cracking
The severity of the foundation damage was evident, as the cracks extended continuously across multiple adjoining walls. This pattern of interconnected cracking is a strong indicator of widespread structural stress, requiring immediate stabilization to prevent further compromise of the foundation system.
GeoLock Excavation
To facilitate the installation of GeoLock® Wall Anchors, a section of the garage floor and the underlying soil was excavated. This allowed for precise placement of the anchor rods and ensured secure embedment into stable soil outside the foundation
GeoLock Rods
Anchor rods for the GeoLock® system were driven laterally from the exterior of the foundation wall into the previously excavated section beneath the garage. This configuration allowed for secure anchoring into stable soil while maintaining structural alignment and minimizing disruption to the existing foundation.
GeoLock Anchors
GeoLock® anchors were securely affixed to the ends of the installed rods and embedded into stable, load-bearing soil. This configuration ensures the system delivers consistent lateral support, effectively counteracting foundation wall movement and enhancing long-term structural stability.
GeoLock Plates
GeoLock anchor plates were secured to the exterior ends of the GeoLock rods and systematically tightened to stabilize the foundation walls and, in many cases, gradually correct their deflection.
GeoLock Covers
GeoLock covers were installed over the anchor plates to enhance the system's visual appeal and provide a more finished, polished appearance.

This image provides an additional perspective on the installed GeoLock covers, highlighting their contribution to a cleaner and more refined finish.
GeoLock Backfill and Garage Floor Repair
The excavated soil was backfilled, followed by the placement of a compacted layer of crushed stone. Concrete was then poured and leveled to restore the garage floor to its original elevation and appearance.
