Concrete Removal
Concrete sections were strategically removed to allow for the proper installation of SmartJacks, ensuring direct support beneath load-bearing areas.
Supplemental Beam and SmartJack Installation
SmartJack base plates were positioned in the excavated areas over a compacted layer of crushed stone to ensure a stable foundation. The adjustable steel posts were then securely connected to the base plates and fastened to a supplemental support beam aligned with the floor joists. The SmartJack system was carefully calibrated to deliver precise load-bearing support, effectively stabilizing and lifting the sagging floors above.
SmartJacks Cemented into Foundation
The SmartJack assemblies were encased in concrete at the base to enhance load distribution and provide additional structural reinforcement within the foundation.
