At Erickson Foundation Solutions, we recently had the pleasure of helping a homeowner in North Smithfield, RI, tackle a rather common yet annoying issue - trip hazards on their front walkway. The safety and well-being of their family and visitors were at risk, and they knew it was time to call the experts in.

Upon contact, our Customer Care team swiftly arranged for System Design Specialist Jim Meglio from our Sales Team to visit the homeowner. During the visit, it became shockingly clear that the walkway had significantly sunk and shifted over time, not uncommon in our area but certainly a hazard. Jim recommended a two-fold solution combining our PolyLevel and NexusPro products to not only lift and level the concrete but also seal the joints and cracks, thus preventing future problems. This recommendation promised not only to eliminate the immediate trip hazards but also to enhance the overall look and lasting durability of the walkway. Our experienced production team, including foreman Tyler Oslizlo and skilled installers, eagerly took on the project. They skillfully injected PolyLevel beneath the slabs to lift them back to their original level, a process much less intrusive than total concrete replacement and far more effective than temporary surface fixes. NexusPro was then applied to seal the cracks and joints, ensuring a smooth, unified appearance and significantly extending the walkway's life by protecting it against water infiltration and future wear.

The outcome? The homeowner was beyond pleased. Not only was the trip hazard efficiently removed, ensuring safety for all who tread on the pathway, but the aesthetic appeal of their front walkway was greatly improved.
