Radon Extraction Point
An extraction point was made in the foundation floor of the home. PVC was fit to the extraction point and then directed outside of the home. This allows radon to be extracted from the soil underneath the basement, preventing it from seeping through the floor.
Radon Fan
The radon fan actively draws radon out from underneath the home. It connects to the PVC pipe on the inside of the home, pulling radon through the extraction point. More PVC pipe is then added to the radon fan and extends surpassed the roofline, safely removing radon gas away from any entry points of the home.
Radon Monometer
The radon monometer visually represents how the radon system is operating. When the needle is within the green box, the radon fan is drawing radon at the optimal level. This visual representation gives homeowners additional peace of mind knowing that their system is working properly.
