Radon Extraction Point
An extraction point was meticulously cored through the foundation floor, allowing for the installation of PVC piping. This setup creates a secure conduit for radon gas to be safely extracted from beneath the foundation, thereby preventing its exposure to the basement environment.
Radon Fan
Once the PVC pipe is routed to the exterior of the home, a radon fan is installed. This fan actively extracts radon gas from beneath the foundation. Additional PVC piping then channels the radon gas above the roofline, ensuring it is safely released away from any potential entry points into the home.
Radon Manometer
The radon manometer gauges the efficiency of the radon fan's operation, offering homeowners confidence that their mitigation system is functioning correctly.
