Radiant Heat Flooring
The homeowner had a radiant heating system installed beneath the home's foundation. To avoid any damage during the installation of the radon mitigation system, our crew employed advanced heat mapping techniques.
Radon Extraction Point
A radon extraction point was created in the basement foundation to depressurize radon gas present in the soil beneath the home. Utilizing our advanced heat mapping techniques, we identified a safe location to core through the foundation. A PVC pipe was then securely fitted to the extraction point to facilitate the radon mitigation process.
Radon Fan
The PVC pipework was discreetly routed through the home, extending to the attic. At this point, a radon fan was installed onto the PVC pipe. This fan actively extracts radon gas from beneath the home's foundation, ensuring effective mitigation.
Releasing Radon Gas Above Roofline
Additional PVC piping was installed from the radon fan and extended through the roof, ensuring the safe release of radon gas above the roofline. This design prevents any possibility of radon reentering the home, thereby safeguarding the indoor environment from radon exposure.
