Radon Extraction Point
An extraction point was created in the foundation floor to depressurize radon gas from the sub-slab. A PVC pipe was then securely fitted to the extraction point and routed to the exterior of the home, ensuring the safe removal of radon gas from the soil beneath the property's foundation.
Radon Fan Installed to PVC Pipe
As the PVC pipe extends to the exterior of the home, the radon fan is installed onto it.
Radon Fan
The radon fan actively extracts radon gas from the soil beneath the foundation, effectively preventing it from seeping into the property.
Exterior Radon Pipe
Additional PVC piping was connected to the radon fan to ensure the safe expulsion of radon gas away from the property. The piping system was designed to allow seamless flow of radon gas while maintaining an aesthetically pleasing appearance.
Radon Released Above Roofline
The PVC pipe extends along the entire height of the building and continues above the roofline, ensuring the release of radon gas far from any entry points of the property.
Radon Manometer
A radon manometer was installed to monitor the effectiveness of the radon fan's draw. This device provides a visual indication, ensuring that the system is operating correctly.
