Radon Extraction Point
Our team commenced the project by coring through the foundation floor to establish an extraction point, effectively depressurizing the area beneath the home. Subsequently, PVC piping was installed at the extraction point to safely collect and channel radon gas.
Routing PVC Pipe Out of Home
The PVC pipe exits through the home's siding.
Radon Fan
The radon fan is installed on the exterior of the home, actively drawing radon from beneath the foundation to prevent the gas from infiltrating the living spaces. Additional PVC piping is then extended from the radon fan, surpassing the roofline to ensure the safe expulsion of radon gas, well away from any potential entry points into the home.
Radon Manometer
The radon manometer offers a visual indication of the proper functioning of the radon mitigation system. This device measures the efficiency with which the radon fan is drawing radon gas from beneath the foundation.
