This homeowner in Framingham, Massachusetts had recently converted most of the basement to living space. The family has been spending a lot more time down in the basement so the homeowner wants to make sure the air quality is healthy. The homeowner decided to call EFS for a free inspection.
Design Specialist Stephen Caron inspected the home. Stephen found some cracks in the slab. The cracks in the slab could be allowing radon-filled air into the basement. Stephen recommended having a radon mitigations system installed. Stephen also recommended sealing all of the cracks in the slab so the radon system can work efficiently.
