In North Billerica, MA, a homeowner faced an inward deflection of their fieldstone foundation wall, jeopardizing the structure's stability and safety. This challenge called for intervention to prevent further structural damage. Our team at Erickson Foundation Solutions stepped in with expert precision. We installed the StableLock system, featuring Power Braces anchored to the wall and reinforced with rebar. Concrete was then tailored with supporting forms, engineered to provide long-lasting stability. As shown in the after photo, we successfully fortified the wall, ensuring a safe and secure environment for the homeowner.
A recently built home in Conway, New Hampshire has radon levels between 24-28 pCi/L. Erickson Foundation Solutions installed a radon mitigation system into the home to reduce the radon levels.
A new home that was built in May 2023 was tested for radon. The results of the test averaged 21.3 pCi/L which is high. After the homeowners fully moved into their new home they reached out to EFS for us to design a radon mitigation system. We designed a radon system with two extraction points to collect the most amount of radon possible. Our team installed the system and lowered the radon levels below the National Radon Defense's recommendation of 4.0 pCi/L. The owners of the home were very happy for the results of the project.
Moving into a new primary residence in Albany, NH, this homeowner wanted to ensure peace of mind by upgrading their basement waterproofing essentials. The before photo showcases the outdated sump pump they inherited, often lackluster in reliability and efficiency. Eager for a transformation, we stepped in, installing our cutting-edge UltraSump System complemented by the IceGuard feature to tackle harsh weather conditions. Notice in the after photo the seamless integration - a firm foundation for a cozy, worry-free home. With our specialized solutions, this basement is now primed for lasting dryness and comfort, truly embodying our mission for remarkable customer experiences and reliable solutions.
This homeowner in North Attleboro, MA was concerned with the sloping, aggregate concrete walkway at the front of their home. Near the stairs to the front door landing, from side to side one of the sections was down almost 4 inches. This was a trip hazard for family and guests at the house, and so the homeowner wanted to get it fixed for safety.
Our concrete repair team successfully installed PolyLevel, a polymer foam spray, beneath the sunken areas and were able to raise up the lower sides of the concrete. The process involved no demolition of existing concrete, which meant the homeowner was saving time and money on this project as opposed to having to replace the concrete completely.
With the walkway raised and even, the entrance to this home is safe once again.
