A Home Inspector came and felt air coming through the foundation which was the reason for high radon levels. He concluded that the homeowner would need a second Radon Mitigation System. Michael Biedrzycki designed a new system to install in the basement. Scott Crandall and the team installed it. The before picture shows where the new Radon Mitigation System will be set up. The after picture shows both the new and the old Radon Mitigation System. With both systems running the radon levels have returned to below 4.0 pCi/l.

Alex M. of North Reading was experiencing settling that was affecting the front door and steps of his home. Alex called EFS to see if they could help with the settling of his home. Design Specialist Chuck Hallas of EFS came out of the home and inspected the area of concern. Chuck concluded that the home could use some Push Piers to stabilize the part of the foundation that is settling.
Jon Provost and Spencer Ladd came to the home and dug out a section of dirt near the stairs to exposed the footing of the foundation. Once they found the footing they attached a Push Pier mount to the footing and started pushing rods down until they hit bedrock or a sustainable press to hold the home.
