The homeowner wanted to stabilize and level the floors. The homeowner decided to call EFS for a free inspection, and our design specialist recommended replacing the support posts in the basement with SmartJacks.

The home had two chambers, meaning they had a standard basement and a crawlspace off of the basement. The basement was mostly finished and the crawlspace was covered with crushed stone. The homeowner decided to call EFS for a free radon inspection, and our design specialist recommended installing a radon mitigation system with 2 extraction points. One of the extraction points was installed on the unfinished side of the basement and the other was installed in the crawlspace. The radon fan was installed on the exterior of the home to expel the radon-filled air into the air outside the home where it can dissipate.

The team used Drainage Matting and CleanSpace to encapsulate the crawlspace.

The ERV will bring fresh air into the home and remove old stale air while the SaniDry will keep the humidity in the home at a comfortable level.
