Despite a test result of 2.6pCi/L, within acceptable limits, they sought to guarantee their family's safety, particularly as the basement served as a workout area. Consequently, they contacted Erickson Foundation Solutions, known for our reliable and quality services.

Our Design Specialist, Josh Phillips, recommended installing our radon mitigation system with a fan moisture guard and muffler. The crew started work on the project by creating an extraction point into the foundation floor. At this stage, a radon vent pipe was affixed and extended outside the home, with the radon fan mounted on the side. Additional radon pipes were then attached to the fan, extending up the exterior wall and over the roofline to prevent radon re-entry. After confirming the fan's functionality, a monometer was installed in the basement to measure any changing radon levels.

The installation of the radon mitigation system ensures that the family is protected from radon gas throughout the entire home, including the basement.

They reached out to EFS for a free inspection and our Design Specialist recommended encapsulating the crawlspace with CleanSpace, SilverGlo, Rim Joist Insulation, and a SaniDry Sedona to control the humidity.

A home in Canterbury, New Hampshire was built approximately 2 years ago. The homeowners, who have lived in the home since it was built, noticed cracking and leaning of their foundation wall. They call EFS to look at their home and present a solution for repairing their foundation wall. Our Design Specialist recommended installing Geolocks and Crack Injection on the foundation wall to straighten the wall and seal the cracks. 

This before and after series highlights a section of a concrete driveway our team repaired in Upton, Massachusetts. The driveway was riddled with cracks, and was uneven throughout the surface. Our concrete repair specialists cleaned up this corner of the driveway with a pressure washer, injected PolyLevel to lift, level, and stabilize the slab, and sealed all the cracks and joints with NexusPro. Not only was the concrete fixed (no demolition required!), but it is also protected for years to come against future settlement concerns.
