Wet Basement Corner
The lowest elevation point of the basement was experiencing water intrusion, resulting in localized pooling along the corner. In preparation for listing the property and enhancing its market value, the homeowner elected to implement a comprehensive basement waterproofing solution.
WaterGuard
Our WaterGuard drainage system was installed along the interior perimeter of the basement walls at the point of water intrusion. Positioned beneath the concrete slab, this system captures seepage before it can reach the basement floor and efficiently channels it to a sump pump, effectively managing and redirecting water away from the foundation.
TrenchDrain
Our TrenchDrain system was installed in areas where fixed mechanical and utility components limited the placement of subsurface drainage. This surface-level drainage solution integrates seamlessly with the WaterGuard system, creating a continuous and unified pathway that efficiently directs captured water to the sump pump for discharge.
UltraSump Sump Pump
The UltraSump sump pump system actively discharges water from the home as it enters the sump liner, effectively preventing accumulation within the basement. Additionally, the system is equipped with an integrated battery backup pump, ensuring continuous operation and reliable water removal even during power outages.
IceGuard
An IceGuard system was installed along the discharge line to serve as a fail-safe mechanism in the event of line blockage due to freezing conditions. This feature allows water to be safely expelled at the exterior of the home, preventing backflow and reducing the risk of system backups.
Bubbler Pot
At the termination point of the discharge line, a bubbler pot was installed to facilitate efficient water dissipation into the surrounding soil. This component promotes controlled drainage, reducing surface saturation and minimizing the risk of lawn sogginess or localized ponding.
