Basement Efflorescence
Efflorescence on basement walls and floors is a clear sign of moisture intrusion through the foundation. If left unaddressed, this water seepage can lead to deterioration and damage of any finished materials within the basement. Proper waterproofing is a critical first step to ensure a dry, stable environment before proceeding with any finishing work.
Basement Wall Encapsulation
CleanSpace was installed along the foundation walls to create a continuous moisture barrier, preventing water vapor from entering the basement environment and contributing to elevated humidity levels. Any excess moisture is directed into the drainage system for proper removal. The system is precisely sealed around windows, utility penetrations, and other openings to ensure a tight, durable barrier against water intrusion.
Basement Perimeter Drainage
WaterGuard was installed along the interior perimeter of the basement at the wall-floor joint to intercept water seepage before it can enter the living space. This system channels collected water directly to the sump pump, where it is efficiently discharged away from the home, helping to safeguard the basement from moisture intrusion and potential damage.
Basement Surface Drainage
TrenchDrain was installed at the doorway where a below-floor system like WaterGuard was not feasible. Designed for surface water management, TrenchDrain effectively captures runoff at entry points where water intrusion is most likely. It is integrated directly with the WaterGuard system, creating a continuous drainage pathway that directs collected water to the sump pump for efficient removal from the home.
TripleSafe Sump Pump System
The TripleSafe Sump Pump system was installed to provide reliable, multi-level protection against basement flooding. This system features three pumps in one durable liner, including a primary pump for everyday water removal, a secondary pump for increased capacity during heavy water intrusion, and a battery backup pump that continues to operate during power outages. Together, these components ensure consistent performance in a wide range of conditions. The system is designed to efficiently discharge water collected by the drainage systems, helping to maintain a dry and protected basement environment.
