Unlike the homeowner's temporary setup, the SuperSump features a high-performance cast-iron pump housed within a professionally designed sump liner. The system is equipped with an airtight, sealed lid that helps prevent excess moisture and humidity from escaping into the basement, contributing to a drier, healthier environment while also keeping debris out of the sump pit.
IceGuard
IceGuard® was integrated into the discharge line to provide year-round system reliability and protection against winter freeze-ups. In the event that the exterior discharge line becomes blocked by ice or snow, the IceGuard's engineered openings allow water to safely escape, preventing it from backing up into the sump pit and potentially re-entering the basement. This added safeguard helps ensure the SuperSump® system can continue discharging water effectively during New Hampshire's harsh winter conditions.
Bubbler Pot
The bubbler pot was installed at the termination point of the discharge line to promote controlled water dispersal and reduce the risk of erosion or water accumulation near the foundation. Following installation, the discharge line was buried to provide a cleaner appearance, protect the piping from damage, and improve overall drainage performance. This configuration allows water from the SuperSump® system to be discharged safely away from the home while maintaining the property's aesthetics and long-term functionality.
