Broken Sump Pump
The existing sump pump system failed to capture and manage incoming water intrusion, contributing to excessive humidity and conditions conducive to moisture-related issues.
Basement Drainage System
The WaterGuard® system was strategically installed along the interior perimeter of the basement floor above the foundation footing to capture groundwater intrusion at its source. The system redirects collected water to the sump basin, where it is safely evacuated from the home, helping maintain a dry and healthy basement environment.
SuperSump Sump Pump System
The SuperSump® sump pump system was installed to efficiently collect and discharge groundwater from the perimeter drainage system, helping maintain a dry and healthy basement environment. It features a powerful cast-iron pump, a durable sump liner, an airtight floor drain lid, and a mechanical float switch for dependable long-term performance.
Sump Pump Discharge Line
A dedicated discharge line was installed to convey water from the SuperSump® system to the exterior of the home through the foundation wall. At the discharge point, an IceGuard® discharge fitting was incorporated to provide a secondary escape route for water in the event the line becomes obstructed by ice or debris, ensuring uninterrupted system operation during adverse conditions. From there, the discharge line extends below grade and terminates at a designated drainage location a safe distance from the foundation, reducing the potential for water recirculation and helping protect the structure from hydrostatic pressure and moisture intrusion.
