Old Sump Pump
The old sump pump previously installed in the home was unable to capture water, leaving the basement prone to leaks and floods. Without a sealed lid, exposed water also left the basement open to excessive moisture which can foster mold growth. Debris could also clog the sump pump.
Basement Drainage System
Our crew cut out the lower portion of the finished basement wall to allow space for our WaterGuard perimeter drainage system to be installed. Our crew then chipped out concrete along the edge of the basement. The WaterGuard system was then installed within crushed stone and connected to the sump pump system. It is then cemented in place. The WaterGuard drainage system collects water from surrounding wet soils before being exposed to the basement. It then filters the water to the sump pump for removal from the home.
Sump Pump with Battery Backup System
The UltraSump Sump Pump was installed to reliably move water from the home at all times, even during power outages. Along with a high-powered pump designed to handle various levels of water influx, the battery backup system allows for water removal when the power goes out. This offers the utmost protection from heavy rains or storms. Water is removed through a discharge line to a safe location away from the home.
