Preparing Installation Basement Perimeter Drainage System

We commenced the project by carefully removing the lower sections of the drywall and studs. To ensure structural integrity, we reinforced the walls with wooden planks. Subsequently, we meticulously chipped away tile and concrete along the basement perimeter to facilitate the installation of the WaterGuard system. This system effectively intercepts water before it infiltrates the basement space, directing it to the sump pump for efficient removal.

After the WaterGuard system is installed and flood tested, it is concreted in place.

Basement Floor Drainage

In areas where the installation of WaterGuard is not feasible, we employ our TrenchDrain surface drainage system. TrenchDrain integrates seamlessly with the WaterGuard system, ensuring a unified pathway for water to be efficiently directed to the sump pump.

Existing Sump Pump in Liner

As WaterGuard channels water to the basin, the sump pump activates to expel it from the home. The sump pump is housed within our liner, creating an airtight seal that prevents moisture infiltration. This design also minimizes the risk of debris clogging the pump, ensuring optimal performance.

Wall Stud Replacement

To support the finished walls, we reinforced the cut studs by anchoring them to the floor. This preparation allows for the seamless installation of our EverLast Half Walls.

Finished Basement Flooring

We removed the existing tile floor and installed our Elite Plank Flooring system. Constructed from inorganic materials, this flooring is both water-resistant and mold-proof. Finished Basement Walls

We installed our EverLast Half Wall on the lower section of the wall that was previously removed.
