Water Damage in Basement
Basement leaks and flooding led to floor discoloration, mold proliferation, and elevated humidity levels. Consequently, stored items in the basement were at significant risk of damage.
WaterGuard
WaterGuard was installed along the interior perimeter of the foundation in the affected area where water seeped into the basement. This advanced waterproofing system intercepts water before it infiltrates the basement space, channeling it directly to the sump pump for efficient removal from the home.
TrenchDrain
TrenchDrain is an advanced surface drainage system designed for areas where WaterGuard installation is not feasible, such as in front of bulkhead entrances. It integrates seamlessly with the WaterGuard system, creating a unified pathway for water to be efficiently directed to the sump pump basin.
TripleSafe Sump Pump
As water enters the TripleSafe Sump Pump basin, a sequence of three pumps activates based on the water influx. This system comprises a primary pump, a secondary pump, and a battery-powered backup pump. The TripleSafe Sump Pump ensures continuous operation and reliability, effectively managing high water levels and power outages.
IceGuard
Water is expelled from the home through a discharge line, which is routed outside to a sufficient distance to prevent re-entry near the foundation. As the discharge line exits the home, IceGuard is installed to ensure continuous water flow, even in the event of blockages caused by freezing temperatures. This system further protects the basement from backups and flooding, enhancing overall home safety and reliability.
Bubbler Pot
A bubbler pot was installed at the terminus of the discharge line to facilitate efficient water drainage into the soil, thereby preventing surface pooling on the lawn. The discharge line is subsequently buried to ensure seamless integration with the landscape.
