Mold developed in the finished basement due to persistent flooding and leaks. To ensure a safe environment with high air quality, implementing a comprehensive waterproofing system was imperative.
WaterGuard
WaterGuard was installed along the perimeter of the basement to intercept water before it enters the living space. This system was discreetly embedded beneath the concrete floor, effectively channeling water to the sump pump for efficient removal from the home.
SuperSump Sump Pump
The SuperSump Sump Pump is equipped with a high-capacity pump designed to manage substantial water influx. Upon water entering the SuperSump's airtight liner, the pump is triggered to efficiently expel water from the basement.
IceGuard
Water is expelled from the home via a discharge line. To prevent backups and potential basement flooding caused by clogs, IceGuard was installed. IceGuard ensures continuous water flow, even in the presence of clogs due to freezing temperatures.
Discharge Line with Bubbler Pot
The discharge line was extended to a safe distance from the home, ensuring that water does not pose a risk of re-entering the basement. A bubbler pot was installed at the end of the discharge line to enhance drainage into the soil, thereby preventing surface water accumulation on the lawn. The discharge line was then buried for optimal functionality.
