Damaged Finished Basement
Observe the water damage depicted in the photo. Accumulation of water beneath the flooring led to mold growth, resulting in damage to personal items due to basement flooding.
WaterGuard
The lower section of drywall was removed due to damage and to enable the installation of our WaterGuard perimeter drainage system. Concrete was carefully chipped away along the basement perimeter, allowing WaterGuard to capture and channel water to the sump pump discreetly beneath the concrete, effectively preventing water infiltration into the basement.
TrenchDrain
TrenchDrain, a surface drainage system, was employed to direct water around immovable basement utilities, such as this water heater. TrenchDrain integrates seamlessly with WaterGuard, creating a continuous pathway for water to be efficiently directed to the sump pump.
TripleSafe Sump Pump
As WaterGuard channels water into the TripleSafe's liner, a trio of pumps activate sequentially to ensure reliable water removal. This system includes a primary pump, a secondary pump, and a battery-powered backup pump. The battery-powered backup pump provides continuous protection against water ingress, even during power outages.
IceGuard
A discharge line is employed to channel water out of the basement. IceGuard is installed on the exterior of the foundation, serving as a failsafe against blockages caused by freezing temperatures. This ensures that the discharge line remains unobstructed at all times, providing additional peace of mind that the sump pump will not back up and flood the basement.
