Wet Finished Basement
Due to an elevated water table, water infiltrated the finished basement at the junction of the wall and floor. The saturated soils surrounding the property generated significant hydrostatic pressure, resulting in basement leaks and flooding that compromised the integrity of the finished space.
WaterGuard Tied into Existing Sump Pump
To preemptively manage water infiltration before it reached the finished basement, we implemented our WaterGuard perimeter drainage system. This advanced system is installed atop the footing to efficiently capture water from the saturated soils surrounding the property and direct it to the sump pump for removal. Our WaterGuard system integrates seamlessly with the existing sump pump, ensuring comprehensive protection against water seepage.
WaterGuard Cemented into Foundation
Once the system is installed, it undergoes rigorous flood testing to verify effective drainage to the sump pump. Upon successful testing, the WaterGuard system is securely cemented into the foundation. This ensures the basement is safeguarded against leaks and floods while maintaining a discreet profile that preserves the basement's aesthetics.
