It effectively seals foundation wall cracks while accommodating minor structural shifts, ensuring the crack remains dry over time. Any residual water infiltration is safely redirected into the integrated drainage system, preventing moisture from reaching the interior wall surface.
WaterGuard Basement Drainage System
The WaterGuard® perimeter drainage system was strategically installed along the interior perimeter of the basement, positioned atop the footing to intercept groundwater before it can enter the living space. This sub-floor drainage solution efficiently captures intruding water and channels it directly to the sump basin, ensuring controlled removal and maintaining a dry basement environment.
CleanSpace Vapor Barrier
The CleanSpace vapor barrier was applied to the leaking foundation wall to provide a durable moisture protection layer. In the event of future water intrusion, CleanSpace prevents moisture from reaching and damaging the finished drywall. Any water that does penetrate the barrier is efficiently channeled into the WaterGuard drainage system, ensuring a controlled and effective moisture management solution.
TripleSafe Sump Pump
The TripleSafe Sump Pump system was installed to replace the previously failing unit, offering a significantly more reliable solution for basement water management. Unlike standard sump pumps, TripleSafe features a three-pump configuration: a primary pump for regular operation, a secondary pump for high-volume scenarios, and a battery-powered backup pump to ensure continued performance during power outages. This tiered system provides continuous and dependable protection against water intrusion under all conditions.
Backed Up Discharge Line Prevention
Water is discharged from the home through an exterior line connected to the sump pump system. To safeguard against potential freezing or clogging of this discharge line, an IceGuard® bypass system was installed. This specialized component allows water to escape safely even if the line becomes obstructed, preventing pressure buildup and ensuring the waterproofing system continues to operate effectively-thereby mitigating the risk of basement flooding.
Bubbler Pot
A bubbler pot was installed at the termination point of the discharge line to facilitate efficient subsurface drainage. This component allows discharged water to percolate directly into the surrounding soil, minimizing surface pooling and protecting the lawn from erosion or saturation. The discharge line itself is buried, preserving the landscape's visual appeal while maintaining the system's functionality.
