Wet Basement
Moisture intrusion occurred through cracks and cold joints in the basement slab, creating pathways for groundwater to enter. This condition increases the risk of microbial growth such as mold, accelerates wood decay, and poses a threat to stored belongings and structural components.
WaterGuard Basement Perimeter Drainage System
The concrete along the basement perimeter was carefully removed to create a channel for the installation of our WaterGuard® drainage system. WaterGuard® is positioned on top of the foundation footing, allowing it to intercept groundwater at its entry point before it reaches the basement floor. Collected water is then directed through the drainage system to the sump pump, where it is efficiently discharged away from the home.
TrenchDrain Surface Drainage System
Our TrenchDrain® surface drainage system was strategically installed around fixed basement utilities to maintain uninterrupted water management. This system integrates seamlessly with the WaterGuard® perimeter drainage, ensuring all surface and subsurface water is efficiently captured and directed to the sump basin for removal.
Sump Pump Basin
A sump basin was excavated beneath the foundation slab to establish a recessed area for proper water collection. This design ensures gravity-fed drainage into the sump liner, allowing efficient water management and directing flow toward the pump system for discharge.
Drainage System Concreted into Foundation Floor
Following a successful flood test to verify system performance, our drainage channels are permanently integrated into the foundation using a clean concrete finish. This ensures a seamless appearance while maintaining optimal water management and long-term durability.
TripleSafe Sump Pump Concreted
The TripleSafe® Sump Pump System integrates three pumps that operate in sequence to provide continuous and reliable water removal under varying conditions. This includes a battery-powered backup pump, ensuring uninterrupted performance during power outages and maintaining maximum protection against flooding.
IceGuard Discharge Line Freeze Prevention
Water is discharged from the sump pump through a dedicated outlet line. At the exterior of the foundation wall, an IceGuard® anti-freeze device is installed to provide a fail-safe against winter conditions. This feature ensures that water can continue to exit the system even if the discharge line becomes obstructed by ice, maintaining reliable drainage year-round.
Discharge Line Bubbler Pot
A bubbler pot is installed at the discharge line's termination point to promote controlled dispersion of water into the surrounding soil. This design prevents surface pooling and minimizes soil saturation, helping maintain lawn integrity and reduce erosion.
Discharge Line Burial
The discharge line is then buried to maintain functionality while preserving the property's appearance. Our installation process emphasizes minimal disruption and restoration of the lawn's aesthetics, ensuring a clean and professional finish.
