Failing Sump Pump
The old sump pump malfunctioning prevented it from effectively collecting and discharging water, allowing infiltration into the basement. As a result, utilities and stored belongings in the space were exposed to potential water damage.
WaterGuard Perimeter Drainage System
To accommodate the installation of our WaterGuard drainage system, a section of concrete along the basement perimeter was carefully removed. Positioned atop the footing, this system intercepts groundwater before it can penetrate the basement interior. Collected water is then efficiently directed to the sump pump for removal.
TrenchDrain Surface Drainage System
TrenchDrain was strategically installed in locations where WaterGuard placement was impractical, such as around fixed basement utilities. This surface drainage solution integrates seamlessly with the WaterGuard system, channeling water around these obstacles and ensuring a unified discharge path to the sump basin.
TripleSafe Sump Pump System
As water enters the TripleSafe sump basin, its three-pump configuration activates as needed to ensure rapid and reliable removal. The system includes a primary pump for standard operation, a secondary pump to manage high-volume inflow during events such as heavy rainfall or snowmelt, and a battery-powered backup pump to maintain protection during power outages or primary pump failure. Discharge is routed through a dedicated line that carries water a safe distance away from the foundation.
