This concrete stoop on a home in Wakefield, MA had settled up to 3 inches in some sections. As the slab settled, cracks formed and started to become unsafe and unsightly. Our concrete repair team of Chris and Nick were able to lift and level the slab using PolyLevel.
A homeowner in Melrose, Massachusetts had a big gap between the pool and concrete deck. He was concerned with critters going into this gap, as well as the unappealing look and tripping hazards. Looking to restore the pool area, he reached out to Erickson Foundation Solutions.
Our Design Specialist, Kenneth Calabrese, recommended installing PolyLevel to lift and level the concrete. Voids underneath the concrete are filled by this polyurethane foam, creating permanent stability. Foreman Nick Melo was able to lift the concrete 4" to bring the concrete back to its original placement.
With tripping hazards eliminated, the pool is transformed into an attractive and safe space!
A homeowner in Peabody, MA was concerned with a section of their concrete where the patio behind the home adjoined the pool deck. The patio itself was the location of a table and some seating. When walking from this area to the deck towards the pool, the concrete joints had become uneven, as one of the sides settled. This section was unsightly and a bit of a trip hazard for friends and family.
Rather than replace all the concrete in this section, which would be costly and disruptive to their backyard, the homeowners were looking for alternative solutions. When they met with our team and learned about PolyLevel, they were thrilled. Our team completed the project in a single day, and were successful in lifting the concrete to the desired height. The trip hazard was no longer a concern, and the joints were sealed with NexusPro to create a more finished look.
This home in Hampton, NH was built on a slab, which over the years was gradually settling. PolyLEVEL was an ideal solution to lift the slab and fill the voids underneath, while doing minimal damage to the inside (holes drill through the slab). The slab had settled up to an inch, putting the floor out of level, and PolyLEVEL easily lifted it back into a level position.
A homeowner in Barre, Massachusetts, had purchased their childhood home that their parent previously owned for 20 years. For the past 10 years, the kid had purchased the parent's home and lived there with their family. Over the last 10 years, homeowners have noticed sinking around the stairs on their pool in the backyard. Our design specialist recommended installing PolyLevel and NexusPro near the stairs of their pool.
