Sunken and Cracked Pool Deck Area 1 (Before)
The pool deck settlement was the result of subsurface soil washout, which created voids beneath multiple concrete slabs. Without adequate support, the slabs settled unevenly and cracked under load. These conditions produced trip hazards that compromise safety, especially in high‑traffic areas around the pool.
Sunken and Cracked Pool Deck Area 1 (After)
To stabilize and restore the pool deck, our crew injected PolyLevel®, a high‑density polyurethane foam, beneath the concrete slabs. The foam expands on contact, filling underlying voids and lifting the slabs back to their proper elevation with precision and control. Once leveling was complete, NexusPro® joint and crack sealant was applied to seal existing cracks and joints, preventing water intrusion and reducing the risk of future soil erosion and slab movement.
Sunken and Cracked Pool Deck Area 2 (Before)
Differential movement of the slabs resulted in elevated edges along the interior perimeter of the pool, creating protrusions that posed a significant safety hazard.
Sunken and Cracked Pool Deck Area 2 (After)
Repairs to the second pool deck followed the same PolyLevel® injection and NexusPro® sealing process to address voids, settlement, and water intrusion. Where additional correction was required, SlabJacks were strategically used in conjunction with targeted lifting methods to achieve proper slab alignment and uniform support.
Sunken and Cracked Pool Deck Area 3 (Before)
The observed soil washout originated in this area, as indicated by the exposed voids visible beneath the concrete slab at the top left of the image.
Pool Deck Repair Area 3 (After)
The injected PolyLevel® polyurethane foam has fully filled the eroded area beneath the slab. With the voids eliminated, the concrete is now supported by durable, cured foam, resulting in a stabilized pool deck that has been properly lifted and leveled.
