Settling Pool Deck
Over time, the pool deck experienced approximately two inches of settlement due to voids forming in the underlying soil. This differential movement created hazardous elevation changes between the pool edge and the surrounding deck, posing safety risks and diminishing both functionality and visual appeal. To restore structural integrity, eliminate trip hazards, and ensure a safe, aesthetically pleasing environment, the homeowner engaged our team to deliver a permanent, long-lasting solution.
Pool Deck Stabilization
Precision slab jacks were employed to realign the concrete sections to their original elevation, ensuring proper grade and structural continuity. Following this, PolyLevel®-a high-density, structural-grade polyurethane foam-was strategically injected beneath the slabs to fill existing voids and reestablish uniform support. This process not only stabilized the concrete but also mitigated future settlement by creating a durable, load-bearing substrate.
Concrete Sealing
SealantPro® was applied to the concrete surface to establish a long-lasting, hydrophobic barrier that significantly reduces permeability. This protective coating safeguards the slab against water infiltration, chemical exposure, and freeze-thaw cycles, thereby enhancing durability and extending the service life of the concrete.
Concrete Joint and Crack Sealant
NexusPro® was applied to all joints and cracks to create a flexible, watertight seal. Engineered with advanced UV-resistant properties, NexusPro maintains its elasticity and adhesion over time, unlike conventional sealants that degrade under sunlight. This permanent solution prevents water infiltration and freeze-thaw damage, protecting the underlying soil from erosion and reducing the risk of future slab settlement.
