Crawl Space Stabilization and Waterproofing in Londonderry, NH

This crawl space was plagued by multiple issues that limited its usefulness and threatened the home's structural stability. A section of the block foundation wall had bowed inward approximately one inch, the existing lally columns had deteriorated from prolonged moisture exposure, and groundwater was contributing to high humidity levels throughout the space. The damp dirt floor created conditions favorable for mold growth, wood rot, and musty odors, making the crawl space unsuitable for storage.
Erickson Foundation Solutions transformed the crawl space into a dry, stable, and functional area. Six PowerBrace™ systems were installed to permanently stabilize the bowing foundation wall, while new reinforced concrete footings and SmartJack® supports replaced the failing lally columns. To control groundwater, our team installed a StarPipe™ drainage system and SmartDrain™, then encapsulated the space with drainage matting, TerraBlock™ insulation, and a CleanSpace® vapor barrier. A SaniDry XP® dehumidifier completed the system, helping maintain optimal humidity levels and creating a healthier environment suitable for long-term storage.
