A potential homeowner looking in Kingston, New Hampshire found a house that they wanted to purchase but needed someone to replace the columns in the basement. 

Our specialist provided a thorough inspection of the basement supports and suggested having SmartJacks installed to replace the old wooden, temporary columns that were currently in place. Our production crew removed the old supports and replaced them with Smart Jacks, permanent supports to stabilize the floor system above.

The homeowners decided to call EFS for a free inspection of their basement. Our Design Specialist met with the homeowners and inspected the basement. We recommended installing SmartJacks to stabilize the floor system. 

A homeowner in Wakefield, Massachusetts, had tree logs as supports in their late 1800s home. The trees had deteriorated over the years and the homeowners had noticed a sag in their main floor. They called EFS for a free inspection, and our design specialist recommended replacing the tree logs.

Our SmartJacks provide more stability than Lally columns, especially wooden ones, due to the galvanized steel plate and beam. Since they are also adjustable, we ensure that this is a permanent solution!

With the 5 SmartJacks installed, the floors are now stabilized, level, and no longer bouncy.
