This condo complex had structural issues due to bowing walls and sagging beams in the basement. In the first photo, you can see how the wall bows out at the bottom of the wall and the sagging beams at the top. After Erickson Foundation Supportworks completed the job, you can see in the second photo the added PowerBraces and new SmartJacks that were added. With these added features, the wall is now permanently stabilized and won't ever move again.

Medford, MA Local Concrete Repair Expert

Sunken and cracked concrete around your home is not only an eyesore, but is also a safety hazard. As time goes by, if the problem isn’t corrected, it will only get worse. However, you have no reason to fret when you have the professionals at Erickson Foundation Supportworks doing the work. Our experts use PolyLevel, a strong, and durable foam material to lift your concrete slabs back into place. We drill small holes into the slab where the foam is injected and expands, raising the concrete into place. Many other contractors will use a technique called mudjacking, but our method doesn’t disturb the area, takes less drying time, and is more affordable.

After repairing your concrete, consider a durable concrete sealant that extends the life of your slabs by 3 to 5 times overall in just one quick application. Our SealantPro concrete sealant bonds with concrete on a molecular level to protect slabs against oil, gasoline, water, debris, and more. Whether you have new slabs or existing slabs, SealantPro will work for you! Now, we also offer ResurfacePro™ Concrete Resurfacing for your concrete repair needs. Our reliable system is made of polymer cement that will leave your concrete functional and durable.

Get in contact with us today and get your FREE concrete leveling and concrete sealing estimate!

Radon Gas Mitigation Systems

Radon gas is colorless, odorless, and as cancer-causing as tobacco and asbestos. Radon gas is produced from the decaying of rocks and soil and comes up from the ground into your crawlspace and basements. The way our radon mitigation systems works in a pipe collects the gases that are coming from the soil. The gas is then piped upwards where a depressurization vent forces the radon out from your home. Our radon mitigation system is completely compatible with the current waterproofing system in your home. Get in contact with us now to learn how to protect your loved ones from the harmful effects of radon gas.

We got a home testing kit since we've been spending so much time working from home (in the basement) and our readings were at about 6.67 pCi/L. Would love to get an estimate and take care of business! Our basement is mostly finished, but plenty of access to the outside. Also curious about installing a mini-split, and I see you do some other work.

Block foundation with some spalling and horizontal/stairstepper cracks along mortar line. Vertical crack and slight bowing of one corner block. Definite mold on and heavy rot of the soleplate/bottom of studs of basement closet framing but unsure if this is from water leaking from foundation or other known sources (e.g. burst water line for exterior faucet, malfunctioning condensate pump for heater) or other events before we owned the house.

We have cracks in foundation and slopping in floors. Slopping is most pronounced in front porch area. Inspector said might be a soil settlement issues. We don't want to do further renovations before dealign with foundation to have to slope later.

We moved into our home in Medford in April. While renovating the basement we've uncovered several large, thick vertical cracks in the concrete foundation. I ripped out the old carpet today and uncovered additional cracks in the floor. We are seeking guidance on what needs to be done to fix the cracks and ensure the foundation is solid. We also need to add support to the beam in the basement given it is insufficient for the open floor plan on the first floor.

I am looking for a quote for helical pile installation for a new front porch. We would need 6 traditional concrete footings - I don't know how many piles that would translate to, but we can talk. thanks, Graham
